„The preparation time is far too short, so I can’t integrate a lot of new players into the team or do experiments. Those who were in the national team have already mastered our game systems, and for that – which is very important – they represent a harmonious group that I like and respect. Changes in the composition always affect the atmosphere in the team. I also assume that some of my players will be very tired, because the league is intense and we will not be able to train three hours a day, every day. And it is necessary for new players to execute tasks and integrate into system. Also, a large number of new players could be a problem because you have to do a lot of work with them individually and then there is less time for teamwork,“ Antiga said.

“The second issue is the mentality. Berlin is going to be one of the mentally toughest tournaments and I instantly need to have players who are ready for the battle. I can’t risk taking someone who is not able to mentally withstand the pressure, because he has been playing with so much at stake. For this reason, already at the stage of making a wide list, I erased several names…” Frenchman added.
