Since when do you play volleyball?

NP: I started playing volleyball when I was nine or eleven years old.

AD: I made my first steps on the volleyball court as a ten year old.

 

Why did you come to play in Poland?

NP: The answer is very simple, Polish volleyball is at a very high level. You have very good teams.

AD: I came to play in Poland, thanks to my manager, who helped me start the adventure in PlusLeague. I could not play in Cuba because of the problems with the home federation. However, a professional volleyball was the only chance to help my family, which was in Cuba.

 

How would you rate the level of PlusLeague?

NP: I told you that for me it is high. This is one of the best volleyball leagues in the world.

AD: Many great players play in Poland, so the level of competition is very high.

 

Your volleyball dreams?

NP: One of my sporting dreams have come true. Bulgaria’s national team played in the Olympics in London. It was only a few months ago. I would like to repeat that success in four years, but I admit that I dream to return from Rio de Janeiro with a medal around my neck.

AD: I dream about becoming a better player, improving my volleyball skills and helping the team achieve the highest results.

 

What do you like doing in your spare time?

NP: Nothing special. Sometimes I watch movies or sleep. The most important for me is to be in shape for the next workout.

AD: I sleep
