– How do you feel after a hard journey?
“It was hard yesterday, when we had to wait for the flight to Nagoya from Tokyo airport “Narita”. But my experience is that tomorrow will be more difficult. The third day of acclimatization is the most difficult.
– The first rival – Japan’s national team. Is it good or bad to start the tournament against hosting team?
“With Japan on its court, we always play hard. At home, they are playing better than at any other place. For us, perhaps, it is good to start the tournament with Japan.”
– Why?
“With acclimatization still can’t do anything but we’ll try to be as good as possible, at the maximum. At the same time we know what to expect from the Japanese national team. Rivals are understandably worried. They’re at home, and their crowd is always waiting for victories.”
– You are playing for the national team again. Of course, many of them are waiting for you, not only fans, but also younger and less experienced players in the national team.
“It’s nice, but I’m the same player. We are gathered here together for success and we will work on it to reach the good result. It is our main goal.” explained Sokolova.
