When two Russian volleyball legends decided to retire from the national team it triggered some other players to do the same.

It all began with Sergey Tetyukhin and was followed by his teammate Aleksey Verbov. After Russia’s duo, two players of the Rio bronze medalists, the US National Team, went out as well.

Precisely, a four-time Olympian Reid Priddy said goodbye to the US NT and will try to reach 2020 Tokyo as beach volleyball competitor.

On the other hand, a three-time Olympian David Lee decided that 2016 Rio Olympics were his last but he will keep on playing for the national team.

Together they captured gold medal in the 2008 Beijing Games.
