Italian stars to shine for great Volleyball night
All home players are fit and so head coach Davide Mazzanti will be able to count on the great spikes of Elitsa Vasileva, the blocks of Iuliana Nucu and Valentina Arrighetti (pictured), the experience of Francesca Piccinini and the great actions in defense always contributed by libero Enrica Merlo.
After losing to Chateau d’Ax URBINO in the 1/4 finals of the national cup Volley BERGAMO is even more determined to display a great performance in Europe’s most elitist competition.
“We have already played Scavolini in the national league and even though they changed a lot since last year, they still remain a very strong and solid team” says Davide Mazzanti.
“I know it won’t be an easy task but we have been training hard in the past few days to get ready, improve the quality of our play and forget our exclusion from the finals of the national cup” he adds.
