Information that the American Volleyball Federation (USA Volleyball) has processed 245 international transfer certificates (163 female, 82 male) allowing United States citizens to compete in foreign professional leagues for the 2014-2015 season, seems flagrant.
On the women’s side, most of the transfers have been processed for athletes to play in France (35), USA Volleyball has processed transfers for female athletes to 25 different countries.
Finland has been the top destination for U.S. male transfers with 12, while USA Volleyball has processed transfers for male athletes to 21 different countries.
