CYP M: National title one win away from Pafiakos as they run over Omonia to get 3-0 in finals

Green Air Pafiakos put one hand on the trophy intended for the best men’s volleyball club in Cyprus.

Green Air Pafiakos ran over Omonia in Game 1 of the best-of-seven playoff finals in the 2017/18 OPAP A Division and took a 3-0 lead in series (Pafiakos started the series with a 2-0 as they beat Omonia both times in the regular season).

During the match in witch Pafiakos prevailed by a 25-22, 25-18, 25-21, Omonia remained without their starting opposite Achilleas Petrakides, who sustained the injury and is doubtful for the next game in the series (March 12).

With the win, Pafiakos came only one win away from winning their first national title in 12 years.
