Laura Heyrman and Anne Matthes of DRESDNER SC together with football players Sebastian Schuppan, David Solga and Toni Leistner of SG Dynamo DRESDEN were there to distribute Christmas gifts to the kids accompanied by some other team members.
Christmas is a special time for family life. We just wanted to fulfill our heartfelt wish to spend some time with these children and their parents” says DRESDNER SC captain Stefanie Karg.

This action was conceived by Diana Schantin, vice-president of SG Dynamo DRESDEN and by the wife of soccer player David Solga who were very active in involving also DRESDNER SC, the other sports standout from the city, thereby contributing a special moment to change a little bit the routine of professional sportspeople. This charity action is supposed to turn into a real tradition and be repeated also in the years to come.

This action was launched last year by soccer player Martin Stoll and his wife and this time was taken over by the couple Solga. “The team had so much fun last year as we were collecting presents for Maria and Martin Stoll and we all remember that the children had brightened eyes last year. These memories were the best motivation to repeat that action. We are very proud for working together with this charity and in such moments we do realize that sport is not the most important thing in our life” adds Sebastian Schuppan of SG Dynamo DRESDEN.
