Milano achieved a well-deserved success in Round 9 of the 2022–23 SuperLega Credem Banca. Roberto Piazza’s team entered the court in Trento as an underdog against the European vice-champions but suffered only in the second set. Milano confirmed that they were going through a great period of form, while Trentino appeared not to be very continuous, recording the second successive setback in the league, which for now left them in the second position in the charts in view of the remaining matches of the round. Angelo Lorenzetti’s guys have 16 points (5-5). The Milanese team is now fourth (5-4), joining the group of four sides with 14 points.

Iranian Milad Ebadipour top-scored Milano with 17 points, while Paolo Porro had 4 winning serves. Srećko Lisinac grounded 17 points for Trentino and 81% attack (13/16).

2022-23 SuperLega Credem Banca – regular season, Round 9:
