Al Rayyan SC emerged as the dominant team in this year’s Qatar Volleyball League after securing a convincing victory in the playoff finals over their fierce rivals, Al Arabi SC. The win marks the second time in a short span of time that Al Rayyan has defeated Al Arabi, cementing their status as the top team in the league.
Throughout the season, Al Rayyan SC proved to be a force to be reckoned with. They consistently displayed a level of skill and determination that set them apart from the other teams in the league. As the playoff finals approached, they remained steadfast in their pursuit of victory, knowing that Al Arabi SC would be a formidable opponent.
In the finals, Al Rayyan SC delivered a stable and unwavering performance, showing their mettle and ultimately triumphing over their rivals. Key to their success was the outstanding play of Oliver Venno, who once again proved to be the star player of the game. With 18 points to his name, Venno was instrumental in securing the victory for his team and was the match top scorer. On the opposing side, Marko Sedlacek and Dusan Petkovic each scored 11 points for Al Arabi SC.
