Only sharp eye could see the unsportsmanlike move in the CEV Champions League match, played in Belgium, last night. So, there’s no need to blame referee for not being able to see it.

What an unsportsmanlike move by player of Belgian Maaseik, Federico Pereyra! The Argentine spiker deliberately pulled the net with his left arm and tricked referee who thought that the player of other team did it!

Federico Pereyra, the outside hitter of Belgian Noliko Maaseik, tricked the referee against French Tours Volley-Ball by deliberately pulling the net with his left hand while jumping in the block.

Of course, the referee didn’t see it and video challenge is not available in the Champions League until playoffs. Thus, the point went to Maaseik as referee thought that Tours’ player touched the net.
