The 26-year old Onuma Sittirak is the go-to attacker for Thailand. Onuma was just two points shy of equaling her output against Korea with 20 points. Her 18-point performance bested her teammates’ scoring output for the day. The consistent attacks of Onuma posed problems for the defense of Chinese Taipei.
Onuma also got help from her teammates who contributed heavily on the Thai offense – Wilavan Apinyapong and Chaisri Tapaphaipun scored 12 points each.

Chinese Taipei struggled to come to terms with the Thailand’s excellent offense and defense, which prevented them from executing decent plays of their own.
Teng Yen-Min’s performance should be given special mention as she broke through the Thai defence and grabbed 14 points mostly from attacks.
