“I think we played better than in BYDGOSZCZ, but overall it was not a very good match for us” says Jochen Schöps, Asseco Resovia attacker. “I am sure we can afford a better game. In the important moments we could count on our reception. In the second and third set BYDGOSZCZ made some simple mistakes in the attack and let us jump back with few points, and we were able to use and maintain the lead.”

“We start the first set very nervous. We were the favorite on the meeting and BYDGOSZCZ had nothing to lose and they put everything on that card. For them all functioned, and we played too nervous” said Jochen Schöps.

“Fortunately for us, from the second set we were able to concentrate properly and regain our rhythm. We played better than in the beginning, but as I mentioned, I’m sure it was not a perfect match, we can afford to have a better game” states Jochen Schöps.

“For sure it will not be an easy game” added Schops. “For Delecta it will be the last chance, so opponents will do everything they can to play the entire game as in the first set on Sunday. We should do everything to make them nervous, because if they start to lose with each new ball they will feel that this semi-final is slipping through their hands. If they start to play nervous and make mistakes, so much better for us”.
