POL W: Zaroślińska crossed out, Poland aim Rio Olympics with these players (LIST)

One of the main favorites to secure spot at the 2016 Olympic Games, the national team of Poland, ended up their work in the training camp in Szczyrk. Head coach Jacek Nawrocki revealed roster of 14 players that will try to qualify for Rio at the Continental Tournament in Ankara, Turkey (January 4-9, 2016).

“On December 28, we will leave to Ankara, but before the trip, we will have one more practice. In Szczyrk, we did all we have planned and we will keep it up. We are aware that the tournament in Ankara will be difficult, but we fly to the capital of Turkey with high hopes and tremendous will to succeed,” said Nawrocki, the head coach of the Polish NT.

The opposite hitter Katarzyna Zaroślińska was crossed out from previous list of 15!

The squad of 14 Polish players for the European qualifying tournament for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, in 2016:

Setters: Izabela Bełcik, Joanna Wołosz

Opposites: Katarzyna Skowrońska-Dolata, Berenika Tomsia

Receivers/outside hitters: Anna Grejman, Aleksandra Jagieło, Natalia Kurnikowska, Anna Werblińska

Middle blockers: Zuzanna Efimienko, Kamila Ganszczyk, Sylwia Pycia, Gabriela Polańska

Liberos: Aleksandra Krzos, Paulina Maj-Erwardt.
