Lubin
Lubin scored a highly important win in their attempt to reach the playoffs in Plus Liga (the six best-placed sides in the regular season). They beat the direct rivals for this, Jastrzębski, in straight sets, partially 25-23, 25-23, 25-16.
Łukasz Kaczmarek topped Lubin with 15 points. Piotr Hain added 5 kill blocks, while Dawid Gunia made 4 kill blocks. Lubin was deprived of help from an Estonian outside hitter Keith Pupart.
In Jastrzębski, for which middle blocker Grzegorz Kosok returned to the roster after a few weeks of break, the Cuban Salvador Hidalgo Oliva scored 14 points.
Despite the win, Lubin remained at No.8, but with only one point less (38 points) compared No.6 Indykpol AZS Olsztyn and No.7 Jastrzębski.
