“The new name for the season 2015/2016 is volleyball team “Niznhy Novgorod”. This change is due to the fact that in Niznhy Novgorod region will be organized project, which will bring together teams from all different sports. Our team is part of this project. More details will be announced in the near future, at the special press conference” says Dmitry Fomin, director of the team Niznhy Novgorod.
In the last season, they took the seventh place in the domestic championship.
