Reigning champions have defeated arch rival Budućnost at home 3-0 (25-18, 25-15, 29-27) and made the first step towards defending a crown.
Although significantly weakened (two main receivers Bojić and Ćaćić went abroad) Budvanska rivijera was just too strong for the young team from Podgorica.
In the winning side Šuljagić scored 15 points, while Ječmenica added 14. On the other side, Babić made 16 points.
