After a very slow start, Japan has managed to score four wins in a row in the Grand Prix 2014. The last one came against China 3-1 (25-20, 25-22, 18-25, 28-26).

The player of the game was Yuki Ishii who scored 24 points.

Both teams will play on the upcoming Final Six of the Grand Prix 2014.
