The starting libero of the Brazil Women’s Volleyball National Team, Camila Brait, announced a temporary retirement.
A couple of days after her team Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde got eliminated from the Brazilian Superliga playoff quarter-finals, Camila Brait made a decision regarding her volleyball career for the next season. A 33-year-old starting libero of the Brazil National Team announced that she was going to miss out on the next season.
As a 3-time Superliga Best Libero posted on social media, it was a joint familiar decision given that she pauses her career to try to have another baby (she’s a mother of a girl named Alice). A year ago, right after the Tokyo Olympics, Camila Brait said goodbye to playing for the national team.
