This issue provides a closer look at Brazil’s rise to the top of the World Grand Prix ranks as they clinched their ninth title in the tournament after a wait of three years.

The current edition also reviews some of the shocks and surprises from the 2013 World Grand Prix, from USA missing out on a medal for the first time since 2010 to the rebirth of China, who took silver at the end of the tournament.

A feature article on Brazil’s 19 year old Gabi, the youngest player in the World Grand Prix this year, gives some insight into the talented young player’s rise to the upper echelons of the volleyball world.

And with social media all abuzz during the tournament, this month’s VolleyWorld showcases some of the best videos, tweets and comments that were shared.

VolleyWorld is a monthly publication produced in electronic format only.
