HUNGARIAN CUP M: Pénzügyőr on throne for 3rd consecutive time

For the 3rd time in a row, the 3rd time overall, Épkar PSE (more commonly known as Pénzügyőr) won the Hungarian Men’s Cup.

Épkar PSE (more commonly known as Pénzügyőr) are on the throne of the Hungarian Men’s Cup. With a powerful play, Pénzügyőr beat GreenPlan-VRCK (a.k.a Kazincbarcika) 3-0 (25-17, 25-13, 28-26) in the final of the 2021/22 MVM Férfi Magyar Kupa held in the city of Érd. The team from the country’s capital of Budapest, thus, won the trophy for the 3rd time in a row (3rd time overall), while its head coach Zoltán Jókay commanded the cup-winning team for the 11th time.

Zoltán Kovács top-scored Pénzügyőr in the decider with 17 points.
