Round 11 of the 2022–23 Polish Men’s Volleyball Championship featured a hot duel in Rzeszów.
In Round 11 of the 2022–23 PlusLiga, Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie outplayed Asseco Resovia Rzeszów 3-1. Tuesday’s match between the runner-up and the third team in the table was heralded as the hit of the competition. Both teams rose to the occasion, and already after the first actions of the match, the fans could be sure that it was going to be a fierce duel. Long rallies heated up the atmosphere in the stands of Rzeszów’s Hala Podpromie, saddening close to 3,000 fans.
Serb Uroš Kovačević top-scored Aluron with 23 points, leading his side to the eighth win overall, the sixth win in PlusLiga. Jakub Bucki tallied 19 for Resovia, including 4 blocks.
